1 out of 5 stars Disappointed   February 22, 2010

I read moxed reviews on this racket, but as it was so cheap I thought it might be worth a try. Well, it just goes to prove that you get what you pay for.
Horrible vibrations with almost every hit of the ball and a very tinny feel. Don't waste your money.

5 out of 5 stars Great Racket and Great Value   December 2, 2009
Cooking Aficionado (Ann Arbor, MI)
I am an experienced beginner, and found this racket pretty much matched my playing skill. I tried a Prince that is priced 3X this racket and could not really discern any major functional difference. The Prince delivered slightly less shock to the hand, but that might just be perception or difference in string tension.

Only downside for this racket was that by the end of the season I had to add a non-slip grip because the original grip had become a little too slippery.

For a beginner like me, this racket is outstanding value. I'd buy another.

The tennis racket looks to be of high quality. This is a gift so has not been used as this date. The product came in the time frame listed and in good condition. Am hoping it will make the recipient happy too.

5 out of 5 stars Does it all   October 29, 2009

Great tennis racquet. I agree with the review that said it's better than anything available at any price point years ago. Before playing again this week, the last time I played was 4 years ago, and my $100 racquet didn't touch this. Heck, my brother's $150 racquet still doesn't touch this. You name it... regular volleys, power shots, topspins, slices, I had no problem getting back into the hang of things with this racquet. Unless you are a club pro, you will not need more control than this. Work on improving your skills, then think about getting a better racquet. I haven't played on it long enough to comment on its durability... some negative reviews on here are disappointed with the quality of the grip. In my opinion, for a racquet this good at this price point, get an overgrip and call it a day.
