Amazon.com Product Description What's the difference between winning and losing? Wilson boils it down to one word: [k]ontrol. The Wilson [K] Blade 98 tennis racquet is made using [k]arophite black technology, a proprietary next-generation structure that results in better feel and a stronger, more stable performance. As a result, it's easier than ever for players to shape their shots and hit the corners with accuracy. And control is a crucial tool, as players who had the fewest unforced errors have won a combined 74 percent of the most recent Grand Slam tournaments. On the whole, the [K] Blade 98 lets you hit accurate, dependable shots from anywhere on the court, making it among the most versatile all-around racquets on the market. The [K] Blade 98 also boasts Wilson's [K] Zone technology, a combination of power holes and power grooves that generate plenty of controlled power. And thanks to the [K]onnector-2 external wings--which are molded into each side of the hoop to increase the dwell time of the ball upon impact--the Blade 98 sports even more control. | Customer Reviews: Strings May 13, 2010 Antonino Fedele 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Received the raquet without the strings: completely usless to me; working onboard a cruise ship, with no possibility of getting strings attached for another two months; no mention in the description that the raquet would come without strings.
Great racquet July 28, 2009 Mack 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this racquet for my daughter after she tried a friend's. She loves everything about this racquet, especially the exceptional manueuverability and comfort and its ability to provide topspin and grab groundstroke shots.
My main peeve was that it did NOT come strung, which was not noted anywhere on the product description. And, as another reviewer mentioned, a cover sure would have been nice!

Was very impressed with the racquet, bit dissappointed that a racquet of this quality didn't come with a bag or cover!
