Started using these because those nickel- or quarter-sized ones that come with your racket are always popping off. I've used one of these for a couple of years and it only came loose once. And when it does it doesn't go flying because of the way it's threaded between the strings.

As far as a dampeners go, this product is the best I have used...but: it eventually will develop a leak - apparently from exposure to the sun or from ball impact. When it does, it oozes a gel that is the color of the dampener. Some are pink, some red and black, others are green and yellow. Whatever the color of your original choice was, it will stain any fabric which touches it. The stain is permanent.

i use a prince o3 red currently and i have tried loads of different dampeners but i have to say this is the best i have used so far, you can really notice the difference with it plus its dead cheap! my advice would be buy and see if you like it, and even if you don't it wont break any bank.
